Over the past 15 years I've developed a technique to duplicate my favourite axes so as they wear out I can make another just the same. The same technique also allows minor variations to be tried, such as changing the chisel length slightly, or increasing the blade radius. If you would like to duplicate one of your own axes, or maybe make a few changes to an otherwise ideal design then here is the design process for you. Simply fill in the dimensions of your preferred axe and email them to me and, if the sizes are realistic, I'll see what I can do to make it for you. |
